How should War Pensions be treated?

A full breakdown of how the war pension is made up is required. Most war pension income is taken into account as income for means-testing, with a standard disregard of the first 10 per week of such income. However, those elements payable to war pensioners which mirror Disability Living Allowance and/or Attendance Allowance are ignored in full. These are War Pensioner's Mobility Supplement, Constant Attendance Allowance, Exceptionally Severe Disablement Allowance, and Severe Disablement Occupational Allowance. Further, any "special" war widows payment is also ignored in full.
